A randomized clinical study was conducted to evaluate the effects on anxiety, depression, stress and optimism levels of an audio recorded clinical hypnosis intervention and a music session and compare them with a control group in women scheduled for breast biopsy. We analyzed the data of 170 patients with an average age of 47 years, who were randomly assigned to each of the groups.
